The current crisis poses enormous challenges for companies in the non-ferrous metal industry. There is great uncertainty about current and future developments, both in the relevant markets and in the political arena.
The industry associations (WVMetalle, GDA, GDB, BDGuss) want to provide their members with as much and meaningful information as possible in these turbulent days. We have set up two new information channels for this.
The Organisation of European Copper Alloy Ingot Makers (OECAM) is an industry association on European level for the copper alloy making industry. The majority of members are privat owned small and medium size companies, which are producing brass, bronze, gun metal and special alloys in form of ingots and continious casted formats.
It was founded in 1989 with a view on the changing economy and ecology in Europe.
The OECAM – founded 1989 in Venice – groups together a number of medium-sized primarily independent companies involved in the production of copper cast alloys, for example brass, bronze, red bronze and special alloys, as blocks, continuous casting or other formats.
